Description
Beirut Arab University is seeking a graphic Designer who is responsible for creating visually compelling and on-brand designs across a variety of media, including digital, print, and social platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, a solid understanding of design principles, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
- Strong command of English and Arabic (spoken and written).
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience in graphic design.
Skills and knowledge:
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Ability to work with Mac platform.
- Strong understanding of design principles: layout, color theory, typography, hierarchy.
- Knowledge of print design and preparation of files for production.
- Understanding of image optimization for web and social media.
- Ability to turn ideas or briefs into compelling visual content.
- Attention to detail and strong visual sense.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on delivering results even when priorities shift.
- Ability to take feedback and work collaboratively in a team.
Main duties:
- Create Visual Content Design graphics, and layouts for digital and print media (websites, social media, brochures, posters, ads).
- Maintain Design Consistency and follow brand guidelines and ensure all visual elements align with the Univeristyួs image and tone.
- Collaborate with Teams or other internal teams to understand project goals and deliver design solutions.
- Manage Multiple Design Projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
- Prepare Files for Production, ensure all design files are print-ready or optimized for web/digital use (correct file types, resolution, color profiles, etc.).
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the concerned Director/Supervisor within the scope of the role and area of expertise.
